Our partner (Erasmus/ Socrates): Dr. Jakub Brzostowski, Institute of Mathematics, Silesian University of Technology, Gliwice, Poland, is visiting us in week 22.
During his visit, he will have the following lecture:
Negotiation Analysis in Agent Technology and Systems Supporting Human Negotiations
on Thursday, 28-th of May, in X1.80 at 13:00
Negotiation is a process of conflict resolution between multiple parties. This process involves communication and decision-making. One of the approaches for handling this type of interaction is negotiation analysis. The term was first introduced by Raiffa (1982) who gave a comprehensive description about the field and the possible methods by integrating elements from game theory and multiple criteria decision analysis. The negotiation analysis approaches allow for modelling mathematically different concepts associated with the negotiation process. My current research focuses on negotiation support systems that apart from the applications mentioned above can be used in teaching people negotiation techniques.
Free admission.
