Application Deadlines

 For students with EU/EEA Citizenship:
The application deadlines for students applying for full degree bachelor programmes in English have been extended from 15 March to 1 July. However, we advise students to send in their application as early as possible and preferably before 1 June.

 

For non EU/EEA students:
The application deadline for full degree bachelor programmes in English is 15 March for all full degree students from non-EU/EEA countries, whether they wish to start on 1 September or 1 February.

Tution fees, waivers and scholarships

 

EU/EEA citizens

(see list of EU/EEA countries)
All programmes are - and will remain - free of charge for EU/EEA citizens as tuition fees are covered by the Danish state for EU/EEA citizens. Non-EU/EEA nationals who have a permanent residence permit for Denmark (for instance refugees or persons who are married to Danish citizens) are also exempted from tuition fees.

EU/EEA citizens may apply for:

  • Information and Communications Technology (3½ years, taught in English)

  • Engineering Design and Industrial Innovation (3½ years, taught in English)

  • The Bachelor of Electronics and Computer Engineering programme (3½ years, taught in English)

  • Ordinary study programmes (B.Eng) (3½ years taught in Danish)

  • The European Project Semester (1 semester)

  • The International Design Semester (1 semester)

  • The International Business Semester (1 semester)

  • Studying as an exchange student (1-2 semesters)

Non EU/EEA citizens

Students from non-EU/EEA countries who enroled in the programmes in the Copenhagen University College of Engineering before August 2006 are exempted from tuition fees.

The tuition fee for non-EU/EEA students is app. DKK 100,000 (Approximately EURO 13,500) per academic year from admissions in the autumn 2006.

Students may apply for:

  • Information and Communications Technology (3½ years, taught in English)

  • Engineering Design and Industrial Innovation (3½ years, taught in English)

  • Bachelor of Electronics and Computer Engineering programme (3½ years, taught in English)

  • Ordinary study programmes (3½ years, taught in Danish)

 
Students may also apply for an exchange programme taken as part of the student's programme in the home country:

  • The European Project Semester (1 semester)

  • The International Design Semester (1 semester)

  • The International Business Semester (1 semester)

  • Studying as an exchange student (1-2 semesters)

 

Exchange students enroled in partner universities in non-EU/EEA-countries may receive a tuition waiver based on agreement between the Engineering College of Copenhagen and their home institution.

The tuition waiver may cover the tuition fee for:

  • The European Project Semester (1 semester)

  • The International Design Semester (1 semester)

  • The International Business Semester (1 semester)

  • Exchange students (1-2 semesters) 

 But NOT for a full Bachelor Degree.

This summer there will be no Summer School Programme. The exchange semesters European Project Semester (EPS) and International Design Semester (IDS) are cancelled as well in the fall semester 2013.
