Learning agreement

When the three parties involved – the exchange student, the home institution and Copenhagen University College of Engineering – agree about the proposed study programme of the student, they all sign a learning agreement, which is part of the general application form.

This agreement on the proposed study programme must be signed by all three parts before the student leaves for Copenhagen University College of Engineering

The learning agreement is a document describing the programme of study abroad and facilitates full academic recognition. A copy of the signed learning agreement should be given to all parties involved, the home institution, Copenhagen University College of Engineering and the exchange student.

Changes to agreed programme of study / Learning agreement

The student may have to modify the agreed programme of study upon arrival at Copenhagen University College of Engineering for a variety of reasons: Timetable clashes, unsuitability of chosen courses (in level or content), etc. Therefore it is possible to make changes to the originally agreed study programme/learning agreement.

Agreement by all parties to the study programme change(s) must be obtained in order to guarantee full academic recognition of all course units followed abroad. It is important that the student knows that the courses and programme of study finally selected must be approved by both the sending and receiving institutions in order to be fully recognised.

Changes to the originally agreed study programme will be indicated on 'Changes to study programme' of the learning agreement and duly counter-signed by the student and the coordinators of both the home institution and Copenhagen University College of Engineering.

It must be stressed that changes to the originally agreed study programme should be made within 2-3 weeks after the student’s arrival at Copenhagen University College of Engineering. A copy of the changed learning agreement should be given to the student and the coordinators of the home institution and of Copenhagen University College of Engineering
