Visa requirements

Please check the following link to the Danish Immigration services to see whether or not you need to apply for a tourist visa.

Students who are citizens in the EU/EEC or Nordic countries do not need a tourist visa.

Students with a nationality that need a visa to enter Denmark, but are residing in a Schengen country at the time of the Summer School program, can stay in Denmark for up to 90 days provided their Schengen visa is valid for the whole period in question.

Students that fall outside of the two categories may need a tourist visa to enter Denmark: It depends on nationality. If you need a tourist visa, you should apply BEFORE LEAVING HOME to the Danish embassy/consulate in your home country as soon as possible, as the Danish Immigration Services can take up to three months to approve a visa application.
